The transactional type of leadership, characterized by linear thinking, predictive accuracy and experience/knowledge advantage does not come into good effect in the VUCA (fast changing, uncertain and disruptive) environment.
Change is the constant and how we lead changes to achieve while developing ourselves and the team is the differentiating capability for leaders and entrepreneurs.
Transformational leadership is based on Whole-Mind Thinking, idealized influence, inspirational motivation and individualized consideration. Through motivating team members for higher level of needs and arousing their awareness of real response-ability, a leader can collaborate with team to achieve goals with higher meaning and purpose.
