SISU students win the 3rd SFLEP Shanghai Intercultural Competence Competition

hree sophomores from School of English Studies of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), Xiong Xin, Xie Songqiao and Yang Xudong, won the first prize in the third SFLEP Shanghai Intercultural Competence Competition on Nov. 9, 2018.

SISU has won the first prize of the competition for three consecutive years. The competition also awarded Deng Weijia and Sun Lu, two SISU teachers, as “Excellent Instructors”.

Hosted by SISU, organized by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press (SFLEP), co-organized by Shanghai International Studies Association and SISU Intercultural Institute under the guidance of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the competition attracted more than a thousand students from various universities in Shanghai since its beginning in May, 2018. 81 players from 27 universities got to the semi-final.
