• Study Abroad

SISU has signed mutual agreements with more than 420 overseas institutions so far. These programs offer students opportunities to study overseas as exchange students, visiting students, degree students and internship students for semesters.  

SISU has cooperative ties with world-class institutions in short-term programs such as summer school, winter school, internship program, fieldwork project etc.. These programs accept enrollments on a rolling basis and allow students to have a holistic experience of foreign cultures and engaging interaction with students from various educational backgrounds within few weeks. Credits earned by students at selected programs are recognized by SISU.

 

Student Exchange Program

The Student Exchange Program is a system in which students of SISU and an overseas partner university, based on an agreement on credit and student exchanges, study in the other university for a specific period of time and get their credits accepted by the university of their original affiliation.

Visiting Students Programs

The Visiting Exchange Program allows students of SISU, based on an cooperative agreement on credit and fees, to study in the other university for a specific period of time and get their credits accepted by SISU. Since the quotas are not limited, they have more options compared to those on the Exchange Program.

Dual Degree Program

In accordance with the General Agreement entered into between SISU and partner universities (such as XXXXXX), the Dual Degree Program is offered to the students who wish to acquire 2 degrees from both SISU and the partner university. Universities

Study Abroad Scholarships

To support more students pursue further studies abroad through the aforementioned programs, SISU provides detailed program information and nominates candidates for different government scholarships such as CSC Scholarship, Shanghai Municipal Scholarship and foreign government scholarships such as Erasmus+ Scholarship. SISU also established “SISU Study Abroad Scholarship” which has funded more than 1500 students to study abroad since 2012.
